The 1/25 VEB Plasticart Vostok is without a doubt,  the worst kit building experience I have had so far. I bought this thing in 1989. The parts were overly thick and the fit was terrible, especially on the crew cabin. There is a lot of filler in this puppy. To top it off there were no instructions. Thankfully I found a book at the library that had some good exterior and interior pictures of a museum piece. That explains why it is painted up the way it is. Many of the antennas were busted so I replaced them with piano wire.  I will say one thing for the kit. The interior is better than the Revell. I think I might strip this guy and use the pieces in the Revell reissue.
