Night Sky Photos

I didn't have a motor driven  mount  to take pictures with for many years, only a 35mm camera on a tripod. Because of that, the longest exposure I could do was 20 seconds. After that the rotation of the Earth began to streak the star images. Nevertheless with my camera loaded with high speed film in one hand and tripod in the other I have ventured out into the cold night air and attempted to photograph some of the wonders of the sky. In 2003 I purchased an 8" LX-90 telescope and have been playing around with a film camera as well as the Meade LP Imager which I picked up in 2004. As I get use to using the camera and imager with the telescope I'll be adding more pictures. In the meantime from the both the pre and post series telescope days, here are some of pictures.
